Normally these types of Electromagnetic clutches are used for transmitting torque from one shaft to another or one machine member to another member.These clutches are well known for their smooth accelaration and high operating perfomance.
These Electromagnetic multidisk clutchrs are of type in which the magnetic flux(field of force) will be passing through the discs.These clutche require no maintanance and are practically suitable for wet applications with high energy dissipation.
